first off when booting scroll down to the xforcevessa and enter nomodeset after the grub line like this

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash nomodeset"

also just add nomodeset to the end of the line like

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash xforcevesa blah blah nomodeset "

the blah blah is a highly technical term for whatever else is in that line

also try

Code:

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash vga=824"

heres some more to try

pci=noacpi
acpi=noirq
irqpoll
noapic

*note I always posts that you should do your own searching this is an exception and the only exception

***important note try all different variations ie just quiet splash etc etc then add and remove from the grub line its just a case of process of elimination
